This will ensure you receive any updates to our calendar as swiftly as possible. Also if you are “On Line” it is now possible to register as an NG Marshal on www.ngroadracing.org, and show your availability this way, rather than completing a form. Contact me if you would like more info.
Over the last few years our club has grown from its original roots on Airfield circuits to become second to none in this country with our range of circuits, venues and entries. This is complimented by our vastly experienced Marshalling & Technical team. Whether you follow us to most/all venues or contribute invaluable local knowledge when we visit your favourite circuit, we are proud to have you as part of our “show” - Without your assistance there would be no racing!!!
This year’s line up at a glance
OULTON PARK
We kick off at one of the hardest circuits to learn, Oulton is vastly popular among our racers, who annually have to “mix it” with the local Oulton “specialists” always a great day. The test day on Friday 25th March will be full to capacity.BRANDS HATCH Indy- Round 2 heads to the world famous Kent circuit in April. Competitors will be keen to establish themselves here as it’s over 3 days, with 3 championship . The Friday test day will be full with over 200 riders. The ACU FSRA British F2 Sidecars join us for their first round as well. Don’t miss it.
DONINGTON PARK
Round 3 heads to the iconic Donington Park where we race on the National configuration. As always, this will be our biggest round of the season with all classes full. It’s simply a huge event. We welcome back the ACU FSRA British F2 Sidecar Championship for their 2nd round. A full to capacity Friday test day is a great way to set up the weekend.
PEMBREY
Running slightly earlier this year, we head abroad to South Wales in June. Again, we can expect to see packed grids, enjoy Phil’s excellent home made curry’s, with the added bonus of welcoming the GP Originals Championship to this event, for the 3rd round of their 2022 championship. NG will also host the well established Friday test day.
CADWELL PARK
Round 5 heads to Lincolnshire. Cadwell is simply the best place to spend a weekend club racing. Beautiful, technical parkland circuit that never fails to deliver a great event. This is a real favourite with the riders and officials team. As with all rounds this year, we will run the Friday test day, which will incorporate the very popular Newcomers “experience” Training Day for those riders wishing to take to the sport mid term. This is already virtually full! Cadwell see’s the 2nd guest appearance of the year for the GP Originals Championship, for their 4th and penultimate round.
CASTLE COMBE
A huge one! Entry-wise, “The Combe” matches Donington but packed into a smaller footprint, this event has a really big heart and an atmosphere to match being in the middle of NG’s historic homeland. Starved of motorcycle racing in this area, the crowds are always huge as well. Simply add this one to your planner first! The feature race is the King of Combe over 3 legs across the weekend. This is complemented by the 125 250 GP ACU National Championship which features at all NG rounds, plus we offer a very warm welcome back to the Lansdown Classic Championship who join us at the Combe for the 7th and penultimate round of their 2022 campaign. NG will run the Friday test day but for a limited number of riders due to local planning conditions. Ask for details.
ANGLESEY Trac-Mon
Our grand finale in September takes us back to Wales and beyond! But it’s so well worth it once you get there. Fondly compared to Philip Island, this track and venue is simply awesome. All categories will be full, championships will be decided, all by the seaside! A 3 day’er to include the test day on Friday and a great venue to close the 2022 season. The ACU 50cc and 125 Streetstocks will join us at Anglesey for their final round. Having been dropped from the NG calendar for the last 2 pandemic stricken seasons, it is simply great to see Anglesey back firmly where it belongs – on our fixture list.
NG Road Racing would like to thank in advance anyone who is able to assist us on the Test/Track days. We will again be providing a breakfast, a cooked lunch or an evening meal, a snack pack and a pint – fondly referred to as the de-brief.
